Digestive Health
Endoscopy
Endoscopy is a minimally invasive procedure that allows physicians to closely examine your digestive tract without surgery.
Using an endoscope—a thin, flexible tube equipped with a light and camera—your physician can view detailed images of your digestive system on a color monitor. This tool can also be used to take biopsies, treat bleeding ulcers, and remove polyps when needed.
Most endoscopic procedures do not require an overnight hospital stay, but no matter how brief your visit to Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery may be, our goal is to make sure your procedure is as comfortable as possible.

- Adenoidectomy
- Balloon sinuplasty

-
Endoscopic Spine Surgery
Endoscopic spine surgery is an increasingly popular option for people seeking pain relief from various back and neck conditions. Far less invasive than traditional surgical techniques, endoscopic spine surgery can be used to alleviate symptoms of sciatica and spinal stenosis caused by disc herniations and arthritic changes. Benefits of endoscopic spine surgery can include:
- Outpatient procedure
- Shorter recovery time and quicker return to daily activities, including work and play
- Small incision (less than a centimeter)
- Less postoperative pain and pain medications
- Local anesthesia with sedation, rather than general anesthesia, may be used
- Minimal blood loss during surgery
- Reduced risk of infection
- Avoid spinal fusion in certain circumstances in which it would otherwise be necessary
Spine surgeons on the medical staff at Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery have years of experience performing endoscopic spine procedures, and are committed to providing the most effective, least‑invasive treatment options to help you return to the activities you love.
