If you think you’re in labor or have a complication or concern, visit the Obstetrics Emergency Room.

Location

For an evaluation of whether or not you are in labor, park and enter through the main hospital Emergency Room entrance.

Maternal Observation

The Obstetrics Emergency Room can help when:

  • You think you might be in labor
  • Your water breaks
  • You feel decreased fetal movements
  • You are bleeding.

Your provider might also send you to the Obstetrics Emergency Room to be monitored or for additional tests.

When You Arrive

Staff will ask you questions about your pregnancy and evaluate your condition. Depending on your needs, you will be taken to the appropriate location for care.
