- Angela Meraz is a certified and registered physician assistant who began her medical career in 2009. She is experienced in the areas of neurosurgery, wound care, emergency medicine and primary care. Her areas of special interest include neurodegenerative diseases, exercise science and infection control.
Meraz holds a number of degrees, including a bachelor's degree in health management earned Magna Cum Laude from Southwest Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Mo., and a master’s degree in biology earned Summa Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. She graduated with her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y. She is also a certified personal trainer. Meraz is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
