Texas Health Allen offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and cardiac rehabitation services. Staff members work to help patients achieve their goals and regain function that has been lost due to injury, illness or surgery.

Services are provided by a team of rehabilitation and physical therapy professionals focused on helping patients regain some of their independence and resume a healthy, active life.

Physical Therapy

Whether you're looking for relief from orthopedic or musculoskeletal injury, sports injury, arthritis, surgery or working to maintain a healthy lifestyle, physical therapy may help you achieve your personal goals.

Physical therapy involves the evaluation and treatment of physical disabilities and is designed to improve physical strength, range of motion, performance of daily living activities and functional ability.

We take the time to perform a thorough structural/systems evaluation and then create a treatment plan that includes manual therapy, structure specific exercise (range of motion, strengthening), modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation), gait training, patient education, and other therapies that target the underlying cause of your pain and treat the effects of your injury or disease.

Reasons for physical therapy treatment include, but are not limited to:

  • Back pain or injury
  • Sciatica
  • Neck pain or injury
  • Whiplash
  • Headache
  • Sports Injury
  • Balance or mobility disturbance
  • Chronic pain
  • Arthritis
  • Ligament sprain
