Dancing to the Music

If your toddler is moving back and forth when she hears music, this is her way of showing off her dance moves!

Around this age, children are more aware of the sounds they hear, and music is often one of them. It’s not unusual for children to sway to the music, or “dance.” You can make it an interactive game by joining in and having some fun together.

Try a variety of music and see if your child will change her movement to different sounds.
