Not Walking Yet

Like most developmental milestones, there’s a wide range of normal in terms of when a toddler will begin walking. Most begin sometime around 12-15 months of age, but some continue 'cruising' for months before taking off on their own.

This isn’t necessarily a problem if your toddler is reaching other milestones in motor and language/social development.

Talk with your child’s healthcare provider about any developmental concerns you have.

This message is not intended to provide individual medical advice. Always seek the advice of a physician or qualified healthcare provider for any questions you have about your health or medical condition, your breastfeeding issues and your infant's health. Never disregard, avoid or delay contacting a doctor or other qualified professional because of something you have read in our emails, webpages or other electronic communications.
