Simon Says

Play a game of Simon Says with your toddler, and take turns giving out “Simon’s” instructions.

When it’s your turn to be Simon, start off with very simple instructions for your child, and gradually build up to more complicated or multi-step directions. It’s a great way to teach your toddler more about following directions.

Try to pay close attention when your child is Simon as well—his instructions can provide a window into what interests him and how he thinks.
