Cancer Survivorship Rehabilitation Program focuses on managing treatment-related conditions for cancer survivors with a goal of improving quality of life and the ability to function.
Rehabilitation is designed for people who have suffered
a disease or injury involving the brain and/or central nervous
system such as a stroke, Parkinson's disease or multiple
sclerosis. This program is helpful for those needing assistance
with functional skills such as balance, range of motion,
swallowing, speech and language.
Orthopedic and Sports
Injury Rehabilitation is designed for people recovering
from orthopedic surgery or sports-related injuries. This program
brings together orthopedic, occupational and sports medicine
professionals to help your return to work, home or sports.
Clinic helps people who have had amputations improve
their strength, endurance and mobility. The clinic also provides
services such as fitting and refitting of prosthetic devices,
prosthetic training and gait training.
The Hand and Upper
Extremity Program provides services, including
customized splints, to deal with the unique challenges facing
those with hand and arm injuries.
Manual Lymph Drainage
Program provides manual therapy to facilitate the flow
of lymphatic fluid and help reduce lymphedema, a swelling of the
limbs often caused by lymph node removal.
The Vestibular and Balance
Program provides services for those people suffering
from a variety of conditions that are characterized by a loss of
balance and/or dizziness. Any individual who is having difficulty
with daily activities due to dizziness or imbalance caused by a
central neurologic or peripheral vestibular system disorder may
benefit from this program.
Treatments specialize in the Lee Silverman BIG and Lee
Silverman LOUD programs, vestibular rehabilitation, and the
utilization of SaeboFlex and Bioness units.
