Our cancer program has been nationally designated as top performing by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons and has received the Outstanding Achievement Award for the past three consecutive surveys.
The nationally recognized cancer program at Texas Health Dallas includes board-certified physicians on the medical staff, specialty-trained nurses, nurse practitioners, clinical pharmacists, therapists and other health professionals who provide a full spectrum of cancer care with a mission to treat the whole patient – body, mind and spirit. Integrated facilities include 24 inpatient beds, four outpatient chemotherapy infusion centers (61 chairs), radiation oncology, Women’s Diagnostic and Breast Center, robotic technology, Gamma Knife unit, palliative care, Cancer Risk and Prevention program and on-site support and education. Advanced technology and comprehensive services distinguish the program in the fight against cancer.
